The Cat Certified Rebuild ProcessThe Cat Certified Rebuild process entails strict adherence to a carefully designed procedure developed by Caterpillar®. Our expert technicians will begin by conducting a complete inspection to assess the condition of your equipment. We’ll then completely disassemble your machine and rebuild it from the ground up, replacing any worn-out or malfunctioning parts and components.Once the rebuilding process is finished, we’ll conduct a series of more than 350 tests to ensure your machine meets the same high quality standards that are required of brand-new Cat equipment. Your re-manufactured machine will be given a new serial number and will also include the benefit of full warranty protection. The Cat 980G Wheel Loader, owned by Sellersburg Stone, was rebuilt to new machine specifications in Boyd CAT’s Louisville, Kentucky, shop, where the ceremony was held on December 17. |
